Is a 10-week parenting & support group classes for incarcerated mothers. These sessions take place within the Genesee County Jail as well as throughout the week in office at times that are convenient for the client.
Topics include- Rewards, Communication & Family Meetings, Healthy Relationships, Reentry, Job Readiness, Setting Boundaries, Solving Problems & Giving Directions, Goals & Objectives, Emotional Regulation, and more.

After successful completion of the program, the mothers that are housed at the Genesee County Jail receive an in-person visitation with their children for an hour. They play games, eat snacks, and exchanges hugs and kisses the entire time!!

We have taught and served 88 mothers and 38 children in 2024!
Incarcerated parents can self enroll their families into the Motherly Intercession programs while in the Genesee County Jail.
